As many of you will know, 15 months ago now we updated and refreshed the way our beer is presented. The work was carried out by old industry friends, ByVolume creative agency.
We’ve had oodles of positive feedback since then so we thought we’d enter the branding in to the 2018 Best of Beer and Cider Awards. A few weeks ago now we were told we had made the shortlist in what is the most hotly contested and fiercely fought category at the awards!
And so last week we went along to the Boiler House, part of the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane for a night of boozing, schmoozing, dancing and handing out awards to folk across the industry (big and small) who’ve done a great job over the last year or so with their beer and cider marketing.
Leo from ByVolume came down to join us to celebrate making the shortlist whilst we enlisted friends from Lose Booty DJs and Digger’s Vinyl Owners Club to come down and spin some vinyl to keep the party going post ceremony, on behalf of Orbit Selectors!
We should wish a great big thank you to Jo, Pete and James for hosting the awards, and congratulations to all the winners!
As for us, we were incredibly flattered to be Highly Commended in our category!
Apparently it was one of the hardest to judge, competition was very tough indeed so an enormous thanks and congratulations goes out from us to ByVolume for all their input, energy and creativity. Not to mention a massive congratulations to North Brewing and Refold who were the overall winners in our Best Branding/Design category.
